Dr. Chung is on staff at Resurrection
Medical Center, Our Lady of
the Resurrection Hospital, Lutheran
General Hospital, Advocate Good
Shepherd Hospital, Good Samaritan
Hospital and Alexian Brothers
Medical Center. She received
her medical degree at the University
of Chicago, Pritzker School
of Medicine. She performed her
internship at Rush Presbyterian
St. Luke’s Hospital. She took
one year off after the birth
of her first child, following
which she completed her residency
at The University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Chung is trained in 3-D
conformal radiation therapy,
IMRT, Mammosite and HDR brachytherapy.
She has a special interest in
breast cancer and lymphomas.
Dr. Chung spends her leisure
time with her husband and two
children.
When asked why she chose radiation
oncology, she states: “When
I was a medical student I was
fortunate to have a radiation
oncologist as a great mentor.
This experience with him inspired
me to enter this challenging
and interesting field.”
