Melody completed her Physician Assistant degree in 2006 with rotational experiences in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, OB/Gyn, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Geriatrics, and Psychiatry in the Chicagoland area, including Oklahoma and Indiana.  She is the Physician Assistant primarily at Illinois Masonic Medical Center/Creticos Cancer Center.

She works along with the physicians in managing patients on treatment and providing complete medical care.  She is available during consultations, weekly patient visits, follow-up visits, and assisting in special procedures as needed.  She is also available to educate and address patient's questions and concerns at any time.  If there are issues that she is unable to handle, the supervising physicians can be contacted.

In her free time, she enjoys running and training for short distance races, personal fitness, sports, photography, traveling, and participating in activities with her church youth group.
On why she chose to work in Radiation Oncology, "I wanted the oppportunity to establish relationships, educate, and be involved in the patient's treatment process.  I want to make a positive impact with everyone I meet through this valuable experience in an exciting field."
